Six years ago I was in Rio de Janeiro. I was searching for the heart of the Bossa Nova, a softer, jazzy form of the Samba.
During the trip on the plane I met a Bossa Nova guitarist. He invited me to perform in a cafe in Rio de Janeiro.
I fell in love with the Bossa Nova and wrote the song "Una Hamaca" (a hammock) at Rio airport. It's about a boy lying in a hammock fantasizing about a woman he just met on the beach. I was a bit naughty: the song is not written in Portuguese, the standard for Bossa Nova, but in Spanish and English
